Art Farm Cottages

10455 Atlanta Newnan Rd, Chattahoochee Hills, GA 30268
Location: Atlanta GA, Serenbe GA
Date: October 4, 2026 ONLY
Architect: Rural Studio
Year: 2026
Type: Residential

Two 500 sq ft cottages by Rural Studio, the Auburn University programme known for proving that serious architecture does not need scale or budget to matter. Set in the woods of the Art Farm at Serenbe, each holds a full life in a tight footprint: bedroom, bath, kitchen, living space, all organised around light and landscape rather than square footage.

A shared deck links the two, holding the line between private retreat and shared ground. The result reads as a working argument for how much a small, well made building can do, and why modest scale is a design decision rather than a compromise.
