Founded in 2007 as MA! Architecture Tours, our program began by offering exclusive access to outstanding architectural design in Atlanta.
Over the years, MA! (an acronym for Modern Atlanta) has grown beyond its origins to become a nationwide platform, showcasing the best in modern residential, commercial, and contract design across the U.S.
With a focus on sustainable materials, architectural innovation, and interior design, these tours provide unique opportunities for professionals and enthusiasts alike to experience cutting-edge architecture from coast to coast.

Preparing for the Tour
Docents/Tour Staff:
- We will provide 2 docents per shift (2 shifts per day: 10 am – 1, 1 – 4 pm) at your home per day.
- If you and your architect and/or designer would like to be at the home, we highly recommend it, but it is not required.
- Tour attendees will ask a lot of questions about your home and the project and who better to provide answers than you and your team?
- Many new clients have been created by being available at your project.
- We are also looking for more docents, so please share with family and friends who might be interested.
- They also receive free tickets to the Tours: Volunteer Sign-Up
Tour Attendees:
- Attendees cannot enter the homes without showing a ticket for the Tours.
- Docents will check their tickets upon entry.
- They can also show their ticket purchase on their smartphones.
- Tickets are sold online only.
- We can also ask attendees to remove shoes or put on booties.
- Please let me and Danelle know your preference.
Prepping your home:
- We suggest you remove all clutter, valuables, pets, and any objects that could be damaged or removed.
- You can also close off areas of your home if you prefer no one to enter.
- A sign on a door or a simple string across a doorway will work.
- We ask that all closets are kept closed.
- Tour attendees are very respectful and will do what you ask once they are in your home.
- If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
- We are also happy to meet with you in person to help you prep the home.
- Construction or unfinished areas of a home must be closed off to tour attendees.
Tour Signage:
- MA! will be providing tour signage to each tour location.
- They will be delivered a few days prior to the Tour dates and left on your front door.
- We will send an email on the day of delivery.
- Please place a tour sign outside your home.
Promotion of the Tour:
- We are promoting the tour to local and national media.
- We ask that you also promote the tours to your friends, clients, and on social channels.
