Set in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward, The Towns at O4W contributes a distinct voice to the MA! Architecture Tour 2025. This three-story residence explores what contemporary urban living can look like when design quality is prioritized at an accessible price point. In one of the city’s most historic and diverse neighborhoods, the project demonstrates how smart planning, clean lines, and durable materials can support elevated, livable design within a compact footprint.
Client Goals:
- Deliver a high-quality home with efficient use of space
- Integrate design that feels elevated but remains approachable
- Support well-being through sustainable materials and systems
- Offer modern amenities within a walkable, historic neighborhood
Design:
With ceilings reaching up to 13 feet and expansive energy-efficient windows, the home is flooded with natural light and promotes a strong sense of flow across its three levels. Durable yet refined materials—site-finished white oak floors, honed marble, and quartz—anchor the design in warmth and simplicity. The hardwood floors were finished with a low-VOC process to support healthier indoor air quality.
Custom features such as bullnose wall corners, built-in shelving, and full stone kitchen backsplashes add depth and usability to the space. Every element reflects the home’s intent: to marry beauty and function without excess.
This 2,000-square-foot residence also provides private outdoor space and a two-car garage, rare features in such a dense urban setting. Located just steps from the BeltLine, Ponce City Market, and Central Park, the home is positioned for walkability and access.
